MHFC is an online showing club made for the sole purpose of restoring FUN to showing. Are you tired of the political/unfriendly/gotta win atmosphere that most of the shows in the hobby have these days? Are you an older Model Horse Enthusiast that remembers when clubs were about fun and sharing with other people who loved horses but can't seem to find that anymore? Or maybe you're new to the hobby and looking for somewhere where people are friendly and want to help you learn, instead of looking down at you for being new?

Look no further!

This club was formed to ESCAPE the haughty and snobbish attitude seen a lot in the hobby now, and any such actions within the club are dealt with swiftly. Meaning people with poor attitudes will be removed from the club.

This club is NOT for you if you are:

Looking for a club where you can have an elitist attitude and only want to win shows/prizes
Want to sneer at other hobbiests if they don't have the 'right' horses
Don't want to participate in anything unless you're getting something out of it
Don't like to judge shows, especially large ones
Just like to complain about everything

But if you're looking for a friendly atmosphere where you can hang out with other model horse people, judge and show in friendly shows where ALL horses are welcome (and even some non-equines!), then you've come to the right place.

This is an online club only, that consists of a yahoogroups list, and several online photo shows and races. At this time there is no newsletter. Joining is absolutely FREE.

Please note: It is REQUIRED that you have your full name listed on your yahoo profile (or you can privately email that information to me at MHFC President. Without this information I will not approve you to the list, and you will have to re-apply.

Members are required to be on the yahoogroups list because this is the club's community. All it takes to join is being approved for the list.

About Performance:

At this time there is no plans to add performance shows, MHFC is a halter only show at this time.
