Model Horse Fun Club

2007 Point Scale for MHFC Showing and Racing:

For now we only allow points earned in this club. Horses points reset at the beginning of the next show year, EXCEPT for the total they earned being recorded for accumulative awards. To see the monthly point totals please visit the link listed at the bottom of the page (click on the Current Point Standings button). All members are required to keep their own points at this time, please see this page: 2007 Point Keeping Sheet and Information

Member of the Year:

Member of the year will win a special prize at the end of the year. Things that earn you Member of the year points are still to be determined, watch here for more things to be added.

Entering a race --- 10 points

Entering a show --- 20 points

Judging a show --- 1000 points

Holding a club benefit show --- 5000 points

Holding a club benefit auction --- 10000 points

Point scale for monthly POS shows:

• 1st - 10 points
• 2nd - 9 points
• 3rd - 8 points
• 4th - 7 points
• 5th - 6 points
• 6th - 5 points
• 7th - 4 points
• 8th - 3 points
• 9th - 2 points
• 10th - 1 point

• Gender/Breed/Color Champion or Overall Gender/Breed/Color Champion(breed, gender, etc) - 30 points
• Gender/Breed/Color or Overall Gender/Breed/Color Reserve Champion - 20 points
• Overall Grand Champion of Show- 50 points
• Overall Reserve Grand Champion of Show- 40 points

*The exception to this is the fun show, where all points will be kept by Tracey Bartone, and the OWNER will get the points instead of the actual things placing.

Points for races:

• 1st - 100 points
• 2nd - 75 points
• 3rd - 50 points
• 4th - 40 points
• 5th - 35 points
• 6th - 30 points
• 7th - 25 points
• 8th - 20 points
• 9th - 15 points
• 10th - 10 points

Top Tens:

Top tens for horses will be named in each breed type, and each gender, separated by division. While we will try to give prizes to 'all' the top ten categories, the overall top tens in each division will get the best/first prizes. Top tens for the animal show will be just 'overall' top ten point earners for now.

Earned Titles:

• Region of Merit - 1,500 points
• Legion of Merit - 2,500 points
• Supreme Horse - 3,500 points
• Master Horse - 10,000 points
• Bronze Horse - 30,000 points
• Silver Horse - 50,000 points
• Gold Horse - 75,000 points
• Hall of Fame - 100,000 points

All horses reaching Hall of Fame status must retire from showing in the club. Earned titles can and may be changed to higher point totals if it is deemed necessary by how many horses reach them and how fast.

Sold horses:

Once your horse is sold and removed from the club it no longer counts for points, period. It's information is deleted and at year ends you can't send in its points for prizes.
