Hello. My name is Samantha Kroese. The horse pictured is Priscilla. I was ten years old when I got her, she was my first horse, and I loved her very much. She was born in the spring of 1991 I believe. I had to give her away when we moved out of state in 1992, 1993, or maybe 1994 but I believe it was probably 1993. I was just a child and it was extremely traumatic so I'm not sure of the date anymore.
She was a dunalino, or a palomino with dark legs and a dorsal stripe. Her dorsal stripe was VERY dark, you can see it in the first photo a bit. Her legs were dark reddish like her face, and she was a tawny/tanish color. Her mane and tail were flaxen/dark cream with darker hairs mixed in them. She had a white star that was a swirl similar to the @ shape in the swirl of hair in the middle of her forehead. I'm not sure anymore if she had white markings on her feet, I don't think she did, if she did they were short ones. She was half welsh pony, the other half I'm not sure of the mother was described as just a 'palomino'. As she was half welsh I doubt she grew to be very tall. She was very quick to turn, and she loved to jump out of her pen to be with people. We had to build her pen nearly to six feet to keep her inside of it. She loved people, and was full of spunk.
I gave her to a Christian riding camp, I believe it was located in or around Silver City, but I'm not positive. I don't remember the name of the gentleman that came and took her and that owned the camp, but I believe he was related to Todd or Tamara Sands. I've been unable to locate any information on the camp or the people involved in it in years of searching. I would very much like to know what happened to Prissy, or even find her if she's still out there somewhere. She'd be approximately 16 years old now if she's still alive and well.

Or if you think you've seen this horse somewhere else, there's no telling if she's still in New Mexico. I realize it's been a long time and I may never find out, but I feel the need to keep this up just in case. Please help me find out what happened to my dear friend.
